Spring Book Fair

We're excited to invite you to our Buy One Get One Free Scholastic Book Fair! Hosted by the Island Lake PTA, this event is an opportunity for students to build their home libraries and further their love of reading.

The fair will take place in the small gym. Students will participate in a book fair preview day on Friday, April 26. They will have the opportunity to make a Wish List to plan their purchase with you at home. Homeroom teachers will communicate when their classes will attend the fair the following week. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, checks made out to Island Lake PTA, and eWallet. Don't forget the tax! Any leftover eWallet funds have been converted into an eGift Card in your Scholastic account and can be transferred back to this fair’s eWallet. Please note, purchases that require <50 cents in change will be rounded up to the nearest dollar unless requested. This money will go towards "Share the Fair" to purchase books for students who would otherwise not be able to participate in the Book Fair.

In addition to student shopping days, the Book Fair will be open before and after the PTA Family Social on Tuesday, April 30 from 4-7:30 p.m. The fair will also be open for family shopping after school on Thursday, May 2 from 4-5:30 p.m.
