Book Fair

We are excited to invite you to the Book Fair! Hosted by the Island Lake PTA, this event is an opportunity for students to build their home libraries and further their love of reading while benefiting our Island Lake library. This year the fair will take place in the small gym.

Students will participate in a preview day on Friday, November 11. They will have the opportunity to make a Wish List to plan their purchase with you at home. Homeroom teachers will communicate when their classes will attend the fair the following week. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, checks made out to Island Lake PTA, and eWallet. Any funds left over from a previous eWallet have been converted into an eGift Card in your account. This balance can be transferred back to this fair's eWallet. Visit our Book Fair website to set up or access previous eWallet funds. Don't forget the tax! :)

Please note, purchases that require <50 cents in change will be rounded up to the nearest dollar unless otherwise requested. This money will go towards "All for Books" to purchase books for students who would otherwise not be able to participate in the Book Fair.

We are also hosting two open house nights for families. The Book Fair will be open before and after the PTA BINGO Social on Tuesday, November 15 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. (BINGO is 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.), and during conferences on Thursday, November 17 from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. (a great time for holiday shopping!).
